A Helpful Reading Log to Prevent Summer Learning Loss

Did you know kids can lose a month or more of reading skills over the summer? And not only reading abilities suffer. Spelling skills take an even harder hit.

To keep your child reading this summer, try our Reading with a Twist log. This reading log not only lets you track what your child is reading and for how long, it also encourages and tracks the use of word games to sharpen spelling skills. And kids can include anything they’ve read in this chart, including their favorite books, magazines, or comic books.
