‘Into The Woods’ Brings Classic Fairy Tales to Life

Trailers for Walt Disney Pictures’ Into the Woods have been released and excitement is building for the December 25th cinematic release. What began as a Tony Award-winning Broadway hit in 1987 is soon to be a major motion picture starring Meryl Streep, Anna Kendrick, Emily Blunt, Chris Pine, and Johnny Depp. With roots in several Brothers Grimm tales, Into the Woods merges story lines from Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, Cinderella, and others.

We can’t wait to marvel over the musical talent of Streep, Kendrick, and others as Disney re-imagines the classic tales from our childhoods. Will you be heading to theaters to see Into the Woods on Christmas Day?
