Homeschooling Family Sends 7 Kids to College by Age 12
The Harding family started homeschooling their children because a regular brick and mortar setting didn’t seem to fit their educational lifestyle for a multitude of reasons. Not only are they a military family, but they also have a group of ten advanced learners that needed to feed their passion for learning.
By making the switch to homeschooling, they quickly found that it was the right choice for them, and have since sent 7 of their children to college by the age of 12, earning the nickname ‘The Brainy Bunch.’ What about the other three? They’re 8, 6, and 4 years old, so they still have the opportunity to be college students within the next few years.
To me, the most inspiring part of this whole story is that they have found inspiration in Confuscious’ saying that when ‘you find something you love, you will never work a day in your life.’ The Harding family has a love for learning, and homeschooling has given them the ability to fulfill their potential.
