Free Comic Book Day is right around the corner! Saturday, May 7, you and your kids can take advantage of all the free comics that will be up for grabs. Shops and book stores across the country will have different comics available, and they’re all first come-first served—so make sure to search for your nearest comic book shop ahead of time and get there early.

Check out some of the popular comics below for a quick preview of what will be available for free! From classic characters like The Simpsons and Spongebob to some up and coming new favorites, there is likely something here your child will want to read.

Free Comic Book Day can be educational. Introducing your child to a new comic may help encourage them to read more.
