At K¹², our mission is to provide any child access to exceptional and meaningful curriculum and tools. That’s one of the reasons K¹² has started creating a series of mobile apps based on our award-winning curriculum.

As the Director of Instructional Design and Innovation at K¹², I’ve been lucky enough to work on a few of our early projects. I thought you might be interested in what we’ve done so far, and what we’re up to next with apps.

What will you find? Well, here’s a list of all the apps we’ve created so far. All of them are available to download today, and most of them are free!

We have plans for a number of new apps, including one to let you log your attendance right from your mobile device, a fun quiz game on Science and History topics with global leaderboards, and apps to help with learning basic counting skills. Check back frequently- we plan to post here on the blog when we roll out new apps for you to download!

	Timed Reading Practice Lite (Free!) Adapted from our MARK¹² Reading Program, Timed Reading LITE lets readers in levels K-4 practice fluency (the ability to read smoothly and quickly) by reading short, timed stories. You can track words per minute read across a sample of 25 stories tied to the Flesh-Kincaid reading levels from 0.0 – 4.7. Allows you to track one student. iOS Only Download (iTunes Preview)
