Robert Letcher is Senior Director of Instructional Innovations at K12. He has worked in education for 20 years and focused much of his career on working with at-risk students and with new and alternate instructional models. He has spent six years as a classroom teacher, and has worked as a teacher and administrator for online school programs. Robert also teaches a Virtual Instructor Practicum course for the University of California at Irvine. He is passionate about his work as it joins his love of education and teaching with his interest in technology. Robert holds a B.S. in Secondary Education, Earth and Space science from Bloomsburg University and a MS in Instructional And Performance Technologies from Boise State University (which was completed entirely online). He lives with his wife and three children just north of Philadelphia. In his spare time, he is a Cub Scout leader, likes to garden, play with his children, and watch movies.
