David Pelizzari is K12’s vice president of content and curriculum. He came to K12 from the Smithsonian Institution where he hosted programs on C-Span with such guests as Steve Forbes, Garrison Keillor, Henry Kissinger, and others. David first came to Washington, DC, in 1997 to take a position with Annenberg/CPB within the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, where he was part of the team that created the Private Universe series with Harvard, many educational series for PBS and the website for teachers. David holds his Ph.D. in English literature from Yale, where he also taught French cinema and literature. A former Fulbright scholar, his essays on French playwrights were published as part of the Columbia Encyclopedia of Modern Drama, and he consulted on the Shakespearean pronunciation of Latin for The Eloquent Shakespeare, published by the University of Chicago Press.
